Pluscore Records is a hyper independent label set up by an aging fraggle from Cheshire. The first release was ‘Intravaganza’ by Sheldon in 2009. While this was the only release, the label might more accurately have been named Pluscore Record, but later, other records were released, giving full justification to the ‘s’ at the end of the name.
There was a technology of some sort in the 2000s called Pluscore which had something to do with records, which caused a bit of search engine confusion. This was pure coincidence, not an attempt to be quirky on our part.
Pluscore literally means ‘positive centre’, which is very bohemian… though the ‘core’ bit also sounds a bit punky.
Records means records.
